Spectrum down? Outage and restart help

Independent help for Spectrum customers in Riverside and San Bernardino counties. We're not Spectrum.

Not affiliated with Spectrum. For account, billing or repair, contact Spectrum directly.

Around here

Cable at nearly every address in both counties, plus some fiber.

Is it an outage?

  1. Open the My Spectrum app to see outages at your address and test your equipment.
  2. Or visit the official Spectrum support site.
  3. Check Downdetector for reports from other users.

Restart your equipment

Most Spectrum customers have a cable modem and a WiFi router, sometimes combined. Unplug the modem and router. Count to 60. Plug the modem in and wait for steady lights (a few minutes), then plug in the router.

Reaching Spectrum

Use the number on your bill, in the My Spectrum app, or on Spectrum's own website. We don't publish phone numbers because fake support lines are a common scam.

Beware of fake "support" numbers. Scam sites and ads pose as provider support, then ask for remote access to your computer or payment in gift cards. Use only the number on your bill, in the provider's app, or on the provider's own website.

Tired of outages?

A second connection from a different provider means one outage doesn't take you offline. Compare options in the city guides or get business quotes.
